Long time ago, in 2013, I wrote my first snippet of fiction. It was a so-called ‘one shot’ – just a few sentences describing the glorious mane of Thorin Oakenshield. That’s how my writing career started. Since then I’ve created a mad assortment of couples, most of which are still the echoes of my original pairing: Wren and Thorin. Wren and John. Gemma and Jack. Fiona and Will. Kosh and Yana. Etta and John. Aphrodite and Hephaestus. Viola and Rhys. A wren and a raven.
